Website Hosting and Basic Maintenance

Once your website is created, someone has to load the files on a web server, manage, and maintain the files. We provide this service to our customers for a small monthly fee.

Our hosting fee includes basic maintenance—minor text changes. For simple changes such as modifying a few lines of text or modifying or adding a paragraph, there is usually no charge. More involved changes to your site, such as adding new pages, adding a form, complete revisions of pages, graphics work, work that requires programming, etc., will likely require a small fee.

Domain Search and Registration

A domain name is a web address. It’s how visitors find your website on the Web. For example, our domain name is elanwebdesign.com. Before you can publish a website, you must decide on a domain name, do a search to make sure it is available, and register it. You will also need to make sure the nameservers are pointed to the web server you will be using.

If you do not have a domain name, we can take care of it for you. We can do a domain name search and registration and change the nameservers. We only charge $15 to search for your domain name and register a domain for one year. Domain names need to be renewed annually.

Email

We provide free email setup for our hosting clients. We can provide web base email or forward your new email address to your current email address.
